I started doing yoga in 2000, as a means to get in better shape as well as help my chronic insomnia. It worked! So I stuck with it. I wanted to be able to teach others all the benefits of yoga, so began my training in Power Yoga in 2008 through Power Yoga Works. I love yoga in many different forms, but Power Yoga is my favorite – something about the heat really feels good; it helps you stay present, and you leave class feeling detoxed and worked out. I am also certified in Prenatal Yoga. Personal info – I am married, work as a mental health counselor, and also own my own event planning business.
