We are excited to introduce our KidFit program!It’s an AMAZING program specifically designed for 5th-8th grade age group. Our mission is to to teach kids about fitness, nutrition and POSITIVE MINDSET.
What does the program include?
- Bodyweight workouts
- Team building exercises
- Nutrition coaching
- Mindset discussions
- 8 week program
- Tuesdays: 5:30-6:15pm workout, 6:15-6:30pm mindset discussion
- Thursdays: 5:30-6pm workout, 6-6:30pm lesson with Registered Dietician
During the mindset discussions we will teach the kids to focus on the things they accomplished that day and not on the negative things that may have happened. We will also teach them to become aware of their thoughts and how they can flip those thoughts from negative to positive, building their confidence. Our Registered Dietician will teach the kids about nutritious meals and snacks to give them energy as well as show them healthy swaps they can make in their day. We will be doing taste tests during this time to encourage the kids to try something they may not otherwise eat.
