Holiday Family Sponsorship on our Giving Tree!

Stories from the families you are helping to make the holidays a little brighter…

from Emily…“Hello! My fiance and I are expecting our first baby here any day now and we are struggling severely with money 😞 He lost his job about 2 weeks ago and we literally have nothing. We aren’t sure how we are going to pay our rent for january and we aren’t going to be able to get a tree or anything for Christmas:( If you are able to help it would be such a blessing you have no idea! We are located right in spring city! Hope to hear from you!!”

from Tina…“I saw your post about looking to help a family for the holidays. I know that nominating my own family might not be the politically correct thing to do. However, I have been battling breast cancer, and have been out of work since my diagnosis in sept because of my aggressive chemo. I have 3 kids, 2 boys 4 and 6 and my daughter is almost 12. I am trying to do what I can to salvage the holidays for my kids any assistance would be more than tremendously appreciated. I hope that your studio finds the perfect family to bless this season.”

from Alisha…“Hello. I saw your post about families in need. I have a 15 year old son, we just moved into our own apartment on Monday, before that we were homeless. We were staying at Motel 6 or at my friend’s house in Harrisburg. I work in Exton he goes to Pottsgrove. So the commute from Harrisburg was a hefty one but I wanted to keep him in the life he knew. Right now we’re in a 1 bedroom apartment, it’s small but it’s ours. I don’t even have food with the move & all. I know how people are & I’m not lying to you. I can show you receipts from Motel 6, eviction paper work, I declared homelessness at his school. I need help this holiday season, my son & I used to pick a needy family every year & donate toys to them. I started it back when he was in kindergarten but this year we are in need of help. I am a teacher for 2 year olds, early childhood education doesn’t pay well but it’s a job & it allows me to pay bills. I would appreciate any help to give him a Christmas, he’s a great young man, his grades are good & he’s been through a lot in the last month but he keeps the smile on his face, no drugs, no trouble, he’s a great kid.”
